LUCIOUS LIPS

Brow and lip saviours to solve the client’s makeup hassles

CHALLENGE:
Abbie had received lip fillers in the past because she wanted definition. Over time and with multiple filler appointments, the natural colour and definition of the lip border had gone pale and transparent. Her eyebrows were also quite sparse. No amount of brow tint and shape appointments could replace the missing hair.

SOLUTION:
Working with the correct pigments to match Abbie’s darker skin tone, we talked in-depth about the style and shape she wanted for her lips and brows. Drawing on the lip liner, I was able to show Abbie how the colour would blend into her lips. It meant she could see the exact shape and outline. I used a defined powered effect and a thicker shape to match the natural shape and colour of her brows. I always talk to my clients throughout the whole procedure so they know exactly what is going on. The result meant that Abbie had the perfectly shaped lips and brows she had always wanted and wouldn’t have to attend monthly salon appointments again.

– WHAT TO EXPECT –

CONSULTATION

A full consultation will consider your skin colouring, the design you want, your medical background, placement and pigment choice. The procedure is explained in full to you, and you will have the opportunity to discuss your needs in detail and ask any questions.

PROCEDURE

Your first procedure will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. This includes all the design work, colour matching, numbing the area and then the procedure itself.

AFTERCARE

After your procedure has finished, you will be instructed on how to look after the treated area. You will also be provided with an aftercare product to take home and told how to use it correctly. You must adhere to the aftercare advice given to you, otherwise this could affect your treatment’s results.

TOP-UP

A secondary top-up procedure is necessary to ensure the original pigment does not fade too quickly. This procedure needs to take place between 1-3 months after your initial treatment.
